What protection do workers who have changed their sex have against sex discrimination?

Under the Sex Discrimination (Gender Reassignment) Regulations workers, who are undergoing, or have undergone, medical treatment to change their sex, now have the same protection against less favourable treatment as any other worker under the Sex Discrimination Acts.
