What are my rights, on transfer of my employer's business, if I do not want to work for the new owner?

There is no obligation to transfer over, but if you refuse to transfer, your contract of employment will come to an end. There is no dismissal in law, so you cannot claim unfair dismissal. You will not normally be entitled to a redundancy payment, as you will be treated as having effectively resigned.
