Under the consultation process your representatives should make it known to your employer that it is felt that the proposed selection criteria for redundancy is unfair. Part of the meaningful consultation process required by the law is that your employer should take account of these views.
It is, however, ultimately your employer's responsibility to decide the selection process for redundancy but, if it you feel it is unfair, you have the right to pursue an individual claim of unfair dismissal on the grounds that you were unfairly selected for redundancy.
