If I belong to an occupational pension scheme, which elects trustee members, how am I informed of the relevant process?

The law requires employers to disclose to employees details of occupational pensions trust rules and the work of trustees.

The law on occupational pensions is quite complex. It recently changed with the introduction of stakeholder pensions, and changes again in 2012 with the introduction of new regulations automatically enrolling employees into pension sehemes and substantially expanding the pool of employees who are eligible for a pension into which employers pay a minimum of 3% of salary as a contribution.
