You must be paid for work you have done. If you are not paid for the work, you can bring an unlawful deductions from wages claim in an employment tribunal, or breach of contract claim in the county court. If you are in this situation, you should seek advice immediately (claims must be lodged to a tribunal within three months of the date that the unpaid sums are due).
Your union will be able to help if you are a member, or an advice agency such as the local Citizens Advice Bureau.
