As teleworking only modifies the way in which work is performed, it does not affect the teleworker's employment status.
A worker's refusal to opt for telework is not, in itself, a valid reason for terminating the employment relationship or changing the key terms and conditions of employment of that worker. Speak to your trade union, if you are concerned. Remember that your employer must follow a disciplinary procedure before dismissing employees.
