If you’re a blogger, you might be putting your job on the line every time you go online. There have been a number of cases in recent months of employers over-reacting, and staff being disciplined for mentioning their work in their personal blogs, even where they thought they’d managed to keep it anonymous. As around 7 million are currently blogging in the UK, and so few employers have blogging policies to let staff know where they stand, this issue is a bit of a blogging time bomb, and a lot more people are going to run into problems in 2007.
