This is a complicated question, and you will need to take specialist advice, probably from an actuary. This will probably be expensive but a wrong decision can make a big difference to your eventual pension.
He or she will need to find out your options. Not all schemes will let you transfer in by buying extra years, or they may be very expensive. You may only be able to get a money purchase scheme with your transfer.
