When am I most at risk?
When you:
- Handle
money.
- Provide
care to people who are ill, on medication, in a panic, or afraid of what
might happen to them, especially in the NHS and emergency services.
- Relate to
people who have a great deal of anger or feelings of failure.
- Face
friends and family of patients, clients or students who are anxious,
angry, afraid, or who feel they can't cope with a large 'bureaucracy',
such as a hospital or school, from which they are seeking help.
- Enforce
rules or regulations, eg benefit officers, council inspectors.
- Provide
an essential service or benefit, or have the power to withdraw it.
