What is dermatitis?

Dermatitis is a skin disease. Inflammation of the skin is the most common sign. It can cause itching, cracking and blistering, and make your skin red, sore and flaky. Dermatitis usually affects the hand and forearms, but it can develop on your face, neck and chest, and inside your mouth or throat.

In the worst cases, occupational dermatitis can lead to severe health problems.
