What about discrimination?

If you are facing sexual or racial harassment as part of bullying, or discrimination linked to a disability, transexuality, sexual orientation, religion or belief or age you may also be able to take a case under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, the Race Relations Act 1976, the Disability Discrimination Act 2005, the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003, Sex Discrimination (Gender Reassignment) Regulations 1999, Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003, or the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 (soon to be consolidated into the new Equalities Act).

For guidance on tackling discrimination and unlawful harassment, you may need to contact your union rep (if available), a Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB), local law centre or a solicitor.
