The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has information and advice on workplace violence for workers and employers, including guides and case studies, as well as research and statistics.

The HSE have also produced a number of publications relevant to work in retail including Working alone – Health and safety guidance on the risks of lone working; Upper Limb Disorders in the Workplace; and Checkouts and musculoskeletal disorders.
