If I don't do anything about HAV, what will happen?

As your symptoms develop, they can severely limit your work, leisure and domestic activities:

• You may not be able to continue working with vibrating equipment.
• Working in cold or wet conditions may become unbearable.
• You may not be able to carry out tasks involving dexterity or finger manipulation, such as holding certain tools, screws or nails.
• You may not be able to take part in leisure activities such as golf, washing the car, fishing, DIY, gardening, certain domestic chores, even fastening buttons or sorting coins.
