Many PMS sufferers report the beneficial effects of simple dietary changes and better eating habits.
Gaynor Bussell, a consultant nutritionist and dietician, is dietary adviser to the National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome (NAPS). In her booklet, Dietary Guidelines for PMS, she strongly advises regular, healthy eating. This includes a healthy, low fat, high fibre diet, and avoiding gaps of more than about three hours without eating.
