Yes, if the Regulations apply to the hazards that you have been exposed to, or the diseases that you may develop, such as asthma or dermatitis. In these circumstances, you must make yourself available. But your employer must pay for the examination and it should be done during working time. Your employer should also fully explain to you the purpose of the examination.
