Make sure from the interview that you know what the next step will be, whether they’ll be in touch with you or you need to contact them, and when. Don’t pester them, but wait until the time they specified has elapsed and then make a polite enquiry about whether a decision has been made.
In the meantime, try to forget about it. You’ve done your best, it’s out of your hands and there’s no more you can do now, so get on with other things. There are other jobs out there, and this is the time to be chasing those. If you are turned down, then the disappointment will be cushioned by the knowledge that you’re already moving towards other opportunities. And if you’re offered the job, then you can politely decline any other interviews, because you’ll be starting a new chapter in your working life.
