Choose your clothes well in advance. For some jobs a casual look is the norm, but if you’re in any doubt at all about the appropriate standard of clothing, err on the formal side. And make sure, at least a few days before the interview, that your clothes are clean and intact, because finding a button missing on your jacket as you step out of the lift won’t do your chances much good at all.
