As part of the so-called “war for talent” – the struggle employers face in finding and keeping the best people – ever more intricate (some might say intrusive) techniques are being used to identify strong candidates. One of these is the psychometric or personality test.
They can be a daunting exercise if you're not used to them, but needn’t be a disaster. In your answers, honesty really is the best policy. And look on the bright side. At least, unlike some managers you might know, you have a personality that is worth testing!
