Although personnel departments will now have to be very careful over the way they advertise vacancies and word job descriptions, for example, avoiding the use of words like energetic, youthful or mature that conjure up the image of a candidate of a certain age, the word �graduate� will still be permissible in certain circumstances. For example, a company could advertise for graduates if it wants to convey the fact that it is looking for all job applicants to have degrees, but it couldn�t use the word to specify that it is only interested in attracting young people fresh out of university.
